Tutoriales WinJUPOS
WinJUPOS
WinJUPOS
has been a breakthrough in planetary astrophotography. Previously, the shots
were limited depending on the rotation speed of the planets, so the duration of
the videos did not normally exceed one minute. With this software we add the
concept of "De-rotation", from this moment, we have a tool that is able to
reposition the planetary disk and compensate its rotation.
The
treatment we can perform of a planetary astrophotography session is now similar
to the one we perform on deep sky objects. With WinJUPOS we can concentrate the
data of an entire session in a single image with high contrast and reduce noise
when stacking more data.
Another
feature of the software is to create polar and cylindrical projections of
planets and sun. It is incredible to contemplate these bodies from their poles
or analyze them as if it were a surface map. Out of the merely aesthetic, these
projections enhance details only visible from these perspectives and allow measurements
of length on them.
The
following tutorials will help you get the most out of these features. You will
learn the concept of "Measurement of Image", key to obtain a good performance
and all the methodology to follow to obtain de-rotation.
